TOWB 011 - 5
The TOWB 011-5 is equipped with a 2.0-L four-cylinder diesel engine with programmable common-rail injection, coupled to an eddy current dynamometer for controlled load application. The facility integrates a high-speed ATI data acquisition system with in-cylinder pressure sensing, thermocouples, and crank-angle–resolved measurements, alongside an M141 Direct Injection ECU for precise control of the high-pressure piezo injectors. Dynamometer operation is managed through a Texcel V4 controller, providing coordinated digital control of engine load and throttle actuation for repeatable and research-grade engine testing.
