Hossein is a doctoral researcher at Brunel University of London, researching on lean hydrogen combustion. His research focuses on the modelling, simulation, and development of a dedicated hydrogen internal combustion engine (H₂ICE) for large-bore, heavy-duty applications as part of an industry-funded project. Amongst the enhancements he has carried out numerically, novel ignition techniques were integrated to improve combustion efficiency and overall engine performance, supporting the advancement of clean and sustainable powertrain technologies.
