Email Address: Yuhe.Liu@brunel.ac.uk

A Doctoral Researcher at Brunel University of London focusing on low/zero-carbon fuels for internal combustion engines. Current research involves the modelling and experimental investigation of methanol-ammonia dual-fuel combustion in heavy-duty engines to develop high-efficiency, low-emission propulsion technologies. Holds an MSc in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, where he conducted research on dynamic load prediction for electric vehicle charging in the UK power grid. Combines expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering with a strong interest in sustainable energy systems.

Research Projects:

  1. Modelling and Experimental Investigation of Methanol–Ammonia Dual-Fuel Combustion in a Heavy-Duty DISI Engine

  2. Dynamic Load Prediction for EV Charging in UK Power Grid (MSc Dissertation, University of Glasgow, 2024)

  3. Design of Control for Jisuda Intelligent Logistics Robot (2021)

  4. Design of Adjustable DC Regulated Power Supply (2021)

  5. Extension to other sustainable fuels (e.g., hydrogen blends) and hybrid propulsion systems
